Dear Educators and School Staff,
I wish you all a “fintastic” new school year full of exciting learning!
Whether you are a formal or informal elementary or secondary educator of any school subject, librarian, or school staff member, I truly hope that you will be capable of including at least one exciting lesson/activity/ project not only about the ocean but also the important role sharks, as top ocean predators, play in protecting marine ecosystems. (See Resources blog.) Education is a key tool to better understand sharks and promote the urgent need for their conservation.
I am also pleased to announce that, after a long and exciting journey, this August, I officially received my Master of Education in Natural Sciences and Environmental Education (MAEd NSEE). While this interactive blog was my capstone project for my master’s degree, it is still being perfected and designed to support you, the educator, as much as possible. Também tenho o prazer de anunciar que, após uma jornada longa e emocionante, em agosto, recebi oficialmente meu Mestrado em Educação em Ciências Naturais e Educação Ambiental (MAEd NSEE).
